Yellow brown ferruginous-silicious matrix, with areas of minute pale green spheres, also unknown. Miersite is a very rare silver/copper species (it is a startlingly simple silver and copper iodide). Yellow brown ferruginous-silicious matrix, with areas of minute pale green spheres, also unknown. Miersite is a very rare silver/copper species (it is a startlingly simple silver and copper iodide). The miersite has been XRD confirmed. Ex John Rankin collection, John acquired the specimen from Arnold van der Heyden , in the early 1990s.
