The rather distorted crystal is double terminated, it has some water wear. Green sapphire crystals are the hardest to find of all the colors of sapphire, coming from Australia, makes it particularly rare.

For sale is a unique green sapphire crystal from The Willows, Qld. The pics may not show it clearly but this crystal is gemmy thou out. The rather distorted crystal is double terminated, it has some water wear . Green sapphire crystals are the hardest to find of all the colors of sapphire, coming from Australia, makes it particularly rare. Decent sapphire crystals from Australia are few and far between. The specimen weights a hefty 10cts, and I should note that I had to pay gem price it obtain it. But I think it was worth saving. All pics are taken in natural light, except the second pic which has torch lighting. Please remember our prices are in Australian dollars. Unique and rare!
