For sale is a chocolate quartz from Cardinia Creek, Vic. Featuring a larger single chocolate quartz crystal, with a few side car associated crystals, showing interesting parallel growth. This classic old locality, is now under water since 1972, as it sits in the Melbourne water catchment area. Little seen today a specimens from this locality, but in its day, Cardinia creek, produced sapphire, zircon, large quartz crystal, multi colored quartz crystals and gold. The quartz specimen are instantly recognisable for there color and complex growth forms, actually this is some of the most easily recognisable quartz I have come across. Historic Victorian specimens. Fully terminated front and rear.
