These are undoubtedly, the holy grail of European mineralogy, these galena pseudomorphs from Germany of galena after pyromorphite. The well formed pyromorphite crystals have been faithfully reproduced by the lead grey galena. These came out more than 150 years ago, and the style is found in much less than a handful of locations, none recently!! Ex Paul Melville collection, Ex Gregor Merkl collection Tubingen, Germany.

For sale is an interesting water clear quartz from Burma. This has all the appearance of an Alpine quartz, , while not rare in the world, its rare from Burma. It appears to be of Tessing habit, its gem clean right to near the base, anything that looks like surface or internal flaw is actually reflections from the back side of the crystal or reflections from the base! This is the first and only one of these I have ever seen in Burma! There is the most minor nibble near the tip, but its virtually in-perceivable.
