For sale is an amazing Brazilian pseudo of quartz after leonhardyite replacing scolocite. The single large replacement blade is thin and translucent. The secondary Calcite is well formed hexagonal crystals with some being very clear. These is also an olive green unidentified material included in the quartz, probably pumpellyite. This outstanding, pristine specimen is by far the finest example of this species, I have ever seen. The specimen is a complete floater and can be displayed from many many angles. Excellent specimen. This specimen was is labeled as Leonhardite after laurmonite, replaced by quartz, first I was a little sceptical, but after much checking, Im pretty sure this is correct. This is undoubtedly a best of its species, and and an extreamly rare specimen. Ex Chris Parkinson collection.
