For sale is a diaspore crystal from Monghsu, Burma. First of all purple diaspore crystals are rare, from anywhere. This is excellent, gemmy transparent crystal. The crystal is notable for diaspore due to the fact that it's amazingly sharp and tabular, which is not a common habit for the mineral. Try and find another one of these for sale anywhere. We obtained only two of these on a recent visit to Burma, this is the last one.

For sale is a gemmy text book perfect dravite crystal from Sri Lanka. Color is golden brown. I pick up this crystal many years ago, while traveling in the Sri Lankan gem fields. This is a lustrous, shape, completely terminated crystal. The form is how tourmalines should normally form , but for some reason 99.9% take the rounded triangle'r shape, with striations on the long axis. Note the striations on this specimen on one termination face. Compared to regular tourmalines, this transmits light down its long axis, and its one of the side faces that doesn't permit the transmission of light.Very uncommon particularly being gemmy. Note common. Pristine.

For sale is a truly wonderful water clear fluorite and calcite on spharalite. This was a little hard to picture because of the water clear nature of the fluorite. The highly lusterous cubes of clear fluroite are highlighted by a dusting of calcite in some areas, this is all grown off a small amount of sphalerite matrix. Uncommon combination, from this classic locatlite, very pretty. Ex Norman and Jocine Robinson collection.
