For sale is a specimen of jet from Whitby,U.K. This is unusual for gem and jewellery material in that it is actually a fossilised wood. Its blackness is so intense that the expression Ďas black as jet' has been a commonly used phrase for hundreds of years. From the 1860s to 1890s jet was the main stone used in English jewellery, as queen Victoria grieved for her lost husband, and everybody else had to follow along! Ex Brian Hutchinson collection , with old lable.

For sale is a double terminated kunzite crystal from Konar Prov. Afghanistan. This very gemmy, lustrous, sharp crystal, interestingly and advantageously, the main crystal faces are not having classic striated faces. The real bonus is the lovely little green tourmaline sitting pretty in the center. Sweet. Overall a top specimen with top fluorescence. Note what had been a steady flow of nice kunzite crystal from Afghanistan has become a mere trickle, over the last few years.
DARA PECK, KONAR PROV. AFGHANISTAN.

We have the pleasure to bring you an uncommon specimen (Mindat has no pics from this location) of pyrite on matrix, from Italy. I must say I know nothing of this locality, but it its an attractive specimen. We obtained this about 10 years ago when we purchased the collection of A. Martin of Munich, Germany. This was originally labeled marcasite, but as no marcasite comes from this location, and it really looks like its pyrite, I think its say to relabel it.
AL FOL QUARRY, TRENTO PROVINCE, ITALY.

These are pretty neat, must say it took me a while to understand and appreciate them, what has happened is originally there were (in this specimen) two joined cubes of pryrite about 20mm each, then the original crystal have been pseudomorphed (or replaced)by pyrite, as you can see there are masses of small "normal" pyrite crystals. I have tried to show in the first picture, the shape of the original 20mm cubic crystal, I hope its clearly seen. This comes from a one off small recent find.

For sale is an excellent wet look pyromorphite from the legendary Bunker Hill mine, in Idaho. The color is a eye pleasing mustard yellow, with a green tinge. The crystals rise vertical from the matrix, unlike a lot of Bunker Hill material, which have a almost tumbled composition. Displays very nicely. American classic. Ex Bernie Whyte collection.

For sale is an absolutely stunning smithsoneite from the famous Kelly mine. It has incredible color, great luster, and a very artistic 3-dimensional arrangement of "bubbles" of botryoidal smithsonite. It is pristine and complete all around, save one small area of contact at the rear of the piece. There is a bonus of the most beautiful chrysocolla as you can see in the pictures, forming the matrix. These are the worlds best smithsonites. Magic.
