For sale is a bladed baryte, from U.K. The unusual thing about this specimen is its color, there is a green component in the faces, very unusual for baryte. The radiating blades make an attractive piece, there are a couple of minor dings but not bad overall.
WET GROOVES MINE, CARPARBY, YORKSHIRE, U.K.
60 x 60 x 54mm
Price: $ 58.00 Product ID: 3739
For sale is an old classic from Cavnic, realgar included baryte. The red color is due to small amounts of included realgar, which is not uncommon from this locality per se. It is very rare included in baryte, however. When it is included, the inclusions tend to be uniformly dispersed to make for "red baryte", of a uniform brick-red color. Orientated specimens such as this are rare. This dates from the mid 1950s, we obtained this specimen in the collection a A.Martin, from Muchich (Germany), when we purchased his collection in 2001. To quote Rob Lavinsky, " a very unique style that so much as I know, does not occur anywhere else in the world to date" describing a similar specimen. Pristine condition.

For sale is a fine tourmaline crystal with albite from Paprok Afghanistan. This crystal has a white top(probably a light coating of albite) then is a lightish green and then goes into a dark greenish black. The white albite gives a sweet accent. The fully terminated top, has an unusual almost mountain range type form. The crystal has top luster and as you can see from the pics a couple of spots where albite probably was previously. Considering the size of the crystal and price this can be easily overlooked.

For sale is a fully terminated, pale blue sapphire crystal from Sri Lanka. The form is razor sharp, and as can be seen from the pics it included a bit in the middle,(actually less than the pics appear)but apart from that quite gemmy and transparent. Excellent luster. Having visited Sri Lanka, more than 25 times, I can say with certainty, these are rapidly rising in price in the local market.
RATNAPURRA, SRI LANKA.
19 x 10 x 8mm
Price: $ 140.00 Product ID: 2548
For sale is a fine calcite group from China. The crystal have decent transparency, and have a slight hematite frosting on the rear. The specimen is in pristine condition, not even a small bruise anywhere. As a nice bonus the smaller crystal is actually a butterfly twin, as seen more clearly in the second pic. Overall just a nice complete specimen, which would not look out of place in the finest mineral collection.

For sale is a sweet stibnite crystal thru a calcite crystal Hunan, China. A fine gemmy calcite well included by shining stibnites. A very good example from this important small find. The sharpness and clarity are excellent, and the calcite is particularly lusterous and transparent. When these were discovered about 6 years ago I bought a few of these and put them away, because of their outstanding quality, and they fascinated me, and still do. Pristine condition.
