For sale is a double terminated topaz crystal with a number of other smaller topaz crystal associated. The pics dont really capture this specimen well, first, it has quiet decent luster, and is very sharp and well terminated in its form. This style of topaz , formed in a rhytolite cavity, and has since weather out of it, thou I cant guarantee it Im pretty sure the inclusions are quartz. Unusual and interesting form of topaz, Ex Bernie Whyte collection.

For sale is an interesting honey colored garnet crystal we acquired on our recent visit to Burma. This is the largest crystal of a small group of crystals we obtained from a small find. The surface terminations, on these specimens are particularly distinctive. The crystal is in pristine condition, there has been no analysis done but it is most likely variety hessonite. Very nice, and uncommon.

For sale is a small but sweet lush green tourmaline, from Brazil. This crystal is remarkable gemmy, and has great definition, and outstanding luster. The body color is a very nice lightish green, with no real dark component, the normal case in the majority of green tourmaline. Considering the usual prices asked for colored gemmy tourmalines, this is very cheap. Ex Berni Whyte collection

For sale is a specimen of jet from Whitby,U.K. This is unusual for gem and jewellery material in that it is actually a fossilised wood. Its blackness is so intense that the expression Ďas black as jet' has been a commonly used phrase for hundreds of years. From the 1860s to 1890s jet was the main stone used in English jewellery, as queen Victoria grieved for her lost husband, and everybody else had to follow along!
