For sale is a large plate of alpine quartz from Switzerland. Its not really easy to see in the pics, but the termination faces of these quartz all have a dusting of green chlorite. There is a small amount of damage but not really taking away from the piece. There is also a bonus. of a single decent sized pyrite crystal sitting among the quartz. We have had this for many years and it came from the collection of A Martin, of Munich Germany which we purchased. This has a sawn base. Not available to overseas purchasers!

For sale is an amazing quartz from China. This is called 'The Rocket' for obvious reasons, first this is not a large specimen, but it is outstanding in form, it must be noted that the luster is good, not really captured in the pics. The pics show front and back of the specimen. Complete specimen double terminated, with no damage. This specimen is way way better in the hand, I my opinion this is the most intriguing, quartz I have come across for many years.

For sale is a large quartz specimen with amethyst secondary growth, from Brazil. An interesting undamaged piece with find secondary growths. For sale is an exquisite slice of amethyst topped banded quartz. Except for the bottom band and the small cream and orange bands in the center, this is a transparent specimen, and a very pretty one at that. This came from the Bernie Whyte collection, and I have seen some glorious pendants that he cut from this material. There has been a thin layer of lacquer applied to one side of this piece. The amethyst is of excellent color. Overall a beautiful quartz specimen, that is also capable of making fine quality jewellery. . The white color seen at the right hand side top and bottom of the specimen, is a light reflection, and is not seen in the material in real life. Nice!
