For sale is a large three color (probably four) tourmaline on quartz from M.I. Brazil. This highly lustrous specimen, changes color down its length from olive to clear to pink the apple green, not at all common, these came out a few years ago,(but rarely in this size) and since then any tourmaline on matrix has appreciated astronomically in value. This fine piece sits well for display, the crystal is perfectly placed. No dings on the crystal faces. This is a ripper of a specimen, check to see if you can find a similar sized piece, anywhere! Crystal length is over 10cm!

For sale is a beautiful quartz specimen from Madagascar. I have used the name 'lazer' as it seem to be a popular way of describing these crystals. the specimen is flawless, the top is fully terminated, and as you see from the pics it can be displayed from many different directions. A top example of quartz crystal, barring one veil towards the middle of the piece, its see thru gemmy.

For sale is a stunning lazurite crystal from Afghanistan, this came from the collection of the person I consider the most unheard of major collector in Australia. The late Rev, Albert Gardiner, of Ashfield, NSW. A small piece of background here, as a volunteer, Bert along with Albert Chapmen, once was and cleaned every specimen in the collection of the Australian museum and the reserve collection, a mazing. Bert had a fine eye for minerals, and his last collection was of exquisite thumbnails, of which this is one. The pics speak for themselves! Check the price of lesser specimen than this in minfind.com! and they are in US dollars!

This is the first piece of Libyan desert glass we have had to offer. Libyan Desert Glass (LDG) is a naturally occurring glass made of silica (silicon dioxide), and generally found in the Libyan Desert - the Western Desert of west Egypt, widely scattered along the Libyan-Egyptian border (the Great Erg). Scientists say the glass is the largest known deposit of a natural silica glass on the planet Earth (about 98% SiO2). The transparent-to-translucent pieces are clear-to-opaque white or yellow-to-green in colour, which glitter like gems in the bright desert sun. This specimen appears to have been used as a ancient scrapping tool, one of their many uses. Ex Christo Lees.

For sale is a small but ultra rare liroconite from Cornwall, U.K. This species is often described as the "holy grail" of mineral collecting. This species dates back nearly 200 years, as it was first described and named in 1825. This piece hosts sharp, lustrous, very well-formed, beautiful blue color crystals, there are also individual distinct crystals on the back of the piece. The green color is actually a result of the camera, having difficulty reproducing the fine blue color.

For sale is a malachtite stalactite from Zaire. This specimen has been polished on both ends (one end not shown, flat polish) for added beauty. Please believe me this is way way better than the pics indicate. The polished ends particularly the top literally sparkles.

For sale is a wulfenite on malachite, from Tsumeb, Namibia. Wulfenite can be considered a bit uncommon from Tsumeb. This has wulfenite crystal on both sides, including one very nice one with malachite inclusions. Under magnification this is very entertaining, and I would say there are a couple of other minerals associated. Well formed crystals, attractive malachite.
TSUMEB MINE, TSUMEB, NAMIBIA.

For sale is a lush malachite from the famous 1980s find in Zaire. This specimen is a bit unusual in that besides having the classic "wet look" hugely lustrous surface, this also has thick banded malachite formations (suitable for cutting), as seen in the second pic. Today these are becoming quite hard to find. Fine sizes specimen. Ex Garry Farnham collection.
