For sale is a rare cobalt blue spinel, from Loc Yen, Vietnam. First of all I have to say, I really dont have the equipment to photograph these gems. In reality this stone is completely transparent and clean with two small veils only. The size of this facetted stone is quite large for the locality. Cobalt spinels are the rarest type of spinel. Compare our price if you can find another for sale, even in the local market these are very uncommon and expensive! The price of these stones meant we could only afford two!!
AN PHU, LOC YEN, VIETNAM.

For sale is a lush chrome diopside from Pakistan. Please note the size of specimen. I have blown the pic up so its easily visible, the vale of inclusions is not really that visible in reality, (but it does prove that it is natural). The color is accurate, and what an amazing color it is. Great representitive piece, and a color one can never get sick of.

For sale is a faceted cobalt blue spinel gem, from Vietnam. This well faceted stone weights .28cts. and displays a color change feature when viewed in incandescent light, it has a strong purple component. We obtained this on a recent visit to Vietnam, and its one of only two we purchased, mainly because of the high asking price! Sorry the pics are not great, I9 found it really difficult to photograph!
AN PHU, LOK YEN, VIETNAM.
3.9 x 3.5 x 2.2mm
Price: $ 155.00 Product ID: 4621
For sale is a facetted taaffeite from Burma. Taaffeite is a very rare beryllium magnesium aluminum mineral, this gem is often included in the list of rarest gemstones in the world. At one time only a handful of specimens were known to exist. Recently more material has been discovered, though taaffeite continues to be very rare. This gem weight is a whopping 1.75 carets. Color is a pale pink. The white seen in the gem in the pictures is actually light reflections from the back facets. "Taaffeite is one of the rarest of mineral species, and surely among the very rarest and most desirable of all collector gemstones", quoting the International Gem Society.
CHAUNGGYI, MOGOK, BURMA.
8.5 x 6 x 4mm
Price: $ 520.00 Product ID: 4563
For sale is a large purple sapphire cab, from Loc Yen, Vietnam. This translucent cab has a couple of faults, but considering the size these can be overlooked, particularly as they are towards very side of the specimen. Weight is a massive 47cts. Excellent fluorescence under long wave light.
LOC YEN, YEN BEI, VIETNAM.
25 x 17 x 9.5mm
Price: $ 225.00 Product ID: 4565
For sale is a "super seven" from Burma. I have had this sitting around home for nearly ten years now after I obtained it in a swap with Christo Lees. The location is very uncommon, and in all my trips to Burma, have never seen another. This is well cut and polished, better than the pics indicate.
