Our large range of minerals reflects the fascination and the desire to preserve our unique Australian material.
Our quest is to further the knowledge and understanding of minerals in the wider community. For sale is an interesting specimen of mainly hemimorphite and rosasite from Evelyn mine, N.T. The hemimorphite overlays rosasite on a large area, giving it a olive green color, the rosasite that is exposed is a glorious saturated light blue. This is the first specimen I have seen from this location, with this olive green appearance. Another interesting thing is the hemimorphite takes a couple of different forms, and there are a couple of long thin roundish crystals(transparent) that Im not even sure are hemimorphite, sitting right in the middle of the specimen.

For sale is an ultra rare herbertsmithite from Murrin Murrin W.Aust. Recent research suggests it may be a previously unknown state of matter! Purified herbertsmithite has been investigated at MIT in a study to determine if it is a new state of matter known as a string-net liquid. Although research is incomplete, compelling evidence has raised the possibility that herbertsmithite may be this previously unobserved state of matter, (according to recent research at MIT, there is compelling evidence that this is indeed the case)!!! . Also its ultra rare.

For sale is a very fine laumontite and stellerite from Tambar Springs. Laumontite is a hydrated calcium and sodium aluminosilicate mineral in the zeolite family, because laumonite commonly drys out to a white powder, its is usually spray to protect it(e.g. hair spray) because the crystals on this are so good I presume it was sprayed in this way shortly after mining. Both minerals are in pristine condition, and are great examples of the species. The specimen was most likely mined in the early 1970s!
