For sale is a superb green beryl crystal from the Triple Chance mine , Thackaringa, NSW. This is an outstanding and rare specimen for two particular reasons. First is the amazing luster of the crystal, I have never seen another from this mine, with even a quarter as good a luster as this, first rate, (better than the pics indicate) the second unique point is that this crystal is full of transparent gemmy green areas, something I have never seen before from this location, class piece. This was obtained by Brian Hutchinson , at the mine in the mid 1970s. There may be better crystal from this mine out there, but up till now this is by far the finest I have ever seen!

For sale is a specimen of green quartz from Wave Hill station, N.T. A swath of green quartz, (very uncommon in Australia) rises from a base of mauve to pinkish chalcedony, I have no idea what the inclusions seen it the crystals are, but I do know that this was the only specimen found at that time of this color saturation! NOTE. Overseas buyers please contact for postage cost!

For sale is a grey lace agate from Calder, Tasmania. First the pics do not convey the luster and polish that this specimen displays. These are found in the tertiary gravels in North West Tassie, there is great conjecture as to their origin. A fine example of Australian lace agate. This specimen is way way better in person!!

For sale is a helidor from Harts Range, N.T. This crystal is double terminated, with one end having a small amount of albite crystals and some mica. This mine has produced I would say Australias best helidor crystals, the golden color of this crystal has a hint of light green, making a very distinctive specimen. The Disputed mine has not produced any specimens since the early 1980s, these today are rare.
DISPUTED MINE, HARTS RANGE, N.T.
40 x 19 x 16mm
Price: $ 38.00 Product ID: 4349
For sale is a heliodor crystal from Disputed mine, Harts Range, N.T. Disputed Mine, was the most prolific producer of heliodor ever found in Australia, today they can only be found in re cycled collections. This features a decent sized crystal sitting proudly in a prominent position. The crystal has good luster. The color is yellow with a small green component. This is a fine Australian beryl from a famous, remote, old location! Like virtually all crystals from this location, this is internally flawed, but quite gemmy! Compare!

For sale is a specular hematite from Iron Monarch mine, S. Aust. This is a flashy and showy specimen of bright silver hematite crystals, on a nicely contrasting red brown matrix. This was hard to photograph as the flashes from the hematite crystals confused the camera. There are well formed crystal on the specimen to nearly 4mm. Nice old material, ex George Stacy, with an original price tag of $60.00 on the hand written label.

For sale is an interesting specimen of mainly hemimorphite and rosasite from Evelyn mine, N.T. The hemimorphite overlays rosasite on a large area, giving it a olive green color, the rosasite that is exposed is a glorious saturated light blue. This is the first specimen I have seen from this location, with this olive green appearance. Another interesting thing is the hemimorphite takes a couple of different forms, and there are a couple of long thin roundish crystals(transparent) that Im not even sure are hemimorphite, sitting right in the middle of the specimen.

For sale is a stunning iridescent siderite over calcite from East Ballina, NSW. First this has no damage, it was incredible hard to photograph, because of its amazing shimmering surface texture, that reflects and throws the light about, from a myriad of surfaces. Way way better in person, this is just spectacular in sunlight! This location is now rehabilitated and there is no more collecting, for many years now. Collected by and from the collection of Norman and Jocine Robinson.

For sale is a combo specimen from Blackhead quary, Ballina, NSW. Featuring silver iridescent siderite half spheres, sitting on clean white flashing quartz crystals. To one side is a half sphere of calcite, over a core of an unidentified soft almost powdery minerals, it would have had to have been calcite originally, but as to what is now, I'm not sure. Pretty! For sale is a natural slab of malachite from Burra, S.Aust. A slab showing decent color banding and a couple of small bull eyes. The right side shows a cavity of botryoidal very dark green malachite, gives a good effect to the whole specimen. This mine has been close since the late 1980s and was Australias must famous copper mine, by far. A great example of one of its most famous minerals. The color was hard to capture accurately, in real life its a bit more saturated green.
