Our large range of minerals reflects the fascination and the desire to preserve our unique Australian material.
Our quest is to further the knowledge and understanding of minerals in the wider community. A browse through these web pages show that we have a rather interesting range of uncommon and hard to find Australian mineral specimens. We have been exhibiting and selling fine Australian minerals since 1990, featuring rare collectors specimen from Broken Hill NSW, Torrington, Hillgrove and other important mines in Australia.

For sale is an fine Australian aquamarine, with polished top, and chrysoberyl, sitting in quartz, Harts Range, N.T. As i said, this has a polish on the top of the aqua, showing the deep blue translucent center, very impressive, with a perfect crystal form and no damage. There is an area of yellow green chrysoberyl contrasting, and highlighting the aquamarine. The history of specimen it came from John Nesbit of the Alice Springs rock club, whose collection was obtained byu Gus Paskalis in Adelaide in the late 1990's. The location is most likely a small unknown location fossicked by Alice Springs club members. Beautiful, rare material.

For sale is an azurite and malachite from Mineral Hill, NSW. I took this pic in natural sun light, I'm sorry there is one small area of shadow. This features and attractive very good sized spread of azurite on a contrasting matrix, with a small area of individual malachite crystals. The azurite is fully crystallized with no contacts. This specimen could easily be trimmed, to remove some matrix.

For sale is a very rare specimen of bagrationite with diopside from Mary Kathleen mine, Qld. The bagrationite is found for only the second time in the world, identification and analysts done by Pavel Kartashov. This is actually the first time since 1847, this has been identified! This has all the center vug as undamaged crystals! Crystals to nearly 1cm. Undamaged specimen, except for the obvious center contact with the top of the pocket, with fine scattering of crystals on diopside.

For sale is a blue chalcedony from Soldiers Cap, Mt Isa. This rather pretty piece was sold as fluorite (blue botryoidal fluorite from Soldiers Cap would have been very interesting!) it turned out to be chalcedony, still rather uncommon. The color is unique, and the brown matrix gives a fine contrasting color. This one really grows on you.

For sale is an exquisite cassiterite on quartz from The Gulf, Emmaville, NSW. Highly lustrous black crystals of cassiterite, positioned beautifully on the undamaged quartz crystals. This is a superb example, of the combo from the New England district. This was mined by and from the collection of the Clifford brothers, Don and Terry. Very nice and today hard to obtain!

For sale is a yellow "chrome" cerussite from Broken Hill NSW. This beautiful specimen with highest luster is a floater group, made up of a series of interlocking crystals. I would suggest that the yellow coloration of the cerussite actually comes from inclusions of bindheimite, either way its very nice and uncommon color for the locality. Largest crystal is a fraction short of 2cm.

For sale is an old Australian classic, a very solid specimen of "chrome" cerussite, from Dundas, Tasmania. Only the lead mines of Tasmania have ever produced chrome cerussite(a very few have recently come from China). The slight limonite matrix is covered with pale yellow to saturated yellow crystals of chrome cerussite. The cerussite is in some areas more than 2omm thick, rather uncommon. This features some elongated crystals, a style not often seen. The back side also has a very decent (40%) area of highly lustrous display. In reality the edges are not as white as the pics tend to make them look!

For sale is a fine citrine with a hint of smoky quartz crystal, from Torrington, NSW. First I have to comment this specimen is way more "alive" than the pics show. This sweet very gemmy crystal has rather nice parallel growth side crystals. This is a "ripper" of a crystal with high luster and pristine condition, aside from contacting of a couple of side crystal, outer edges.
53 x 30 x 25mm

For sale is a citrine tipped smoky quartz over morion quartz, from the famous 2012 find at Bismuth Dam, Torrington, NSW. This crystal is great, with great balance between colors, good size and rarity. These have rapidly become world favorites, and today its extremely hard to obtain one anywhere. We obtained ours of one of the discoverers Paul Hayes, a few years ago. There is a small contact at the rear where a crystal touched in the pocket, and a very micro nibble near the apex. These in no way detract from the stunning beauty and elegance of this specimen!

For sale is a supberb copper specimen from Rocklands mine, Mt Isa, Qld. This magic specimen show great spinel law twinning. Stunning definition, very aestetic.
