This flashy specimen would make a nice center piece in any collection. No damage. This is a very old specimen we obtained from Alan Arnold, and it had formerly been in the Reg Taylor collection.

For sale is a opal on selenite, from Coober Pedy. This is a very uncommon combination, while I have seen them in proximity of each other, this is the first time I have actually seen opal on selenite. Excellent large display specimen, the opal has decent color over a large area. This piece has not been polished and has a light lacquer coating. Ex Brian Hutchinson collection.

Pickeringite is not a common mineral, and this displays wonderfully. We will make every effort to pack this item securely, when posting. This piece is about 40 years out of the ground, ex Brian Hutchinson collection.

For sale is a classic old Australian specimen of prehnite from Emu Quarry, Prospect. This old Sydney location was the main Australian prehnite location for many years early last century. This specimen is notable for its large size and nice color. You would have to describe the surface as somewhat wheathered, not having a high luster, but I have to say pieces like this just do not come along every day. This is probably the largest solid prehnite I have seen from this location, for sale this century. Ex Bernie Whyte collection.

For sale is a very fine pyrite specimen from Chillagoe, Qld. First of all this specimen is way way better in person, it has excellent luster especially considering its age. The form is exceptional, with a ball next to a modified cube, there is even some crystals that appear to be somewhat hoppered. Overall this is equal to any pyrite I have ever seen from Queensland. Two sided natural specimen, displays perfectly. This was obtained from an old Qld, collection at he Gatton Gemboree. Try and find better anywhere!

This piece is not available to overseas buyers. I must say that the pics dont really catch the true golden sparkly color of the pyrite. The combination makes for and attractive specimen. The pyrite is actually on the surface of the rhodochrosite. Ex M.J. Stott collection.
BROKEN HILL, NSW.

For sale is an especially fine pyrite specimen from Broken Hill. Pyrite crystals of any size were not particularly common at Broken Hill, this is one of the finest examples I have seen. We have a large specimen of pyrite sitting on etched galena, the piece is special , because it shows the satiny drusy pryrite with some irredescence, as well as the more normal cubic crystal forms. This specimen is a bit hard to photograph, its way better in person. Ex Bernie Whyte collection. Top knotch specimen.

A fine plate of pyrite on slate from Authur river in Tasmania. The nearly complete coverage of pyrite crystals make a great great contrast against scattering of the slate matrix. Pyrite on slate is not common worldwide. These are top specimens for this association, and a bit of a Tasmanian classic.

For sale is a rare pyromorphite specimen from the Orlando Mine, Tennant Creek. N.T. This very large piece was collected by Norman Robinson in the early 1970s, and features a surface blanketed with bright green pyromorphite crystals, sitting on a contrasting kaolin matrix. The matrix is a quiet interesting banded ironstone, the rear is quiet interesting (needing magnification) I can see galena, pyromorphite and at least three other minerals(one may be a botryoidal brown pyro) Fascinating piece, this was the largest and last specimen from a very small group collected, NOTE, All buyers please contact regarding postage costs, this is heavy!
