For sale is a malachite from Mt Gunson S.Aust. The first pic shows small malachite rod crystal, of a perqualor lime green color, sitting on a bed of goethite which itself sits on a bed of brick red hematite, which in turn sits on the final matrix of very large grained quartz. Unusual piece from this location, and uncommon. On the back side the same unusual color malachite sits on colomular goethite. Ex M.J. Stott collection.

Apart from one small contact area visibile in the pics, this is a complete floater front and back. Good malachite specimens are not common from here. Ex M J Stott collection.

For sale is a matrix mimetite from Mt Bonny, N.T. Basically there is one ivory colored crystal, showing what appears to be cyclical twinning, Im not sure does cyclical twinning, so it may be, unusual beveled edge crystal.I realized after looking at the pic, that this could do with a good clean. Collected by and from the collection of Norman and Jocine Robinson. This is better than the pics indicate. Crystal size is 12mm long.

Compleat is a huge, compleat spray of molydenite crystals from Wolfram Camp. This local (along with Kingsgate) is reputed to have produced, the worlds finest and largest well formed crystals in the world. The the faces are mirror bright and undamaged. Rarely do you see such fine termination as shown in the second pic. This was originally on a quartz matrix but unfortunately it became separated, in one of its travels. This specimen was found by and was in the collection of Nick Charchalis,(Newcastle) who was an exploration geologist, working in the area in the mid 60s. Museum piece.
