A very elegant and lusterous group of thick crocoite crystals from the Red Lead Mine. This is fully terminated in the rought fashion crocoite often takes. Stunning fire engine red color, displays well on both sides. Outstanding old material, probably from the early 70s. Crystals like this are just not seen nowdays.

For sale is a sapphire crystal from Anakie field Queensland. This cryustal has great size and sharp form, with little wear and tear. The color is dark blue, and it has very little transparency. For sale is a small but ultra rare yellow sapphire on matrix, from Kings Plains, NSW. Matrix sapphires in Australia, are quite rare, and exclusively dark blue in color. Matrix yellow sapphires from Australia, are literally unknown, that what makes this so special. The crystal has fine luster and color and translucency, there is a possible small cleave, but its really, really hard to tell, it may have grown this way. This is the first I have ever seen and I do not expect to see another one. Ex Paul Young collection.

For sale is a very fine smoky quartz from Mt Isa, Qld. The form these crystal have formed in is the uncommon "cumberland" form,(named for the district in UK) very similar to beta quartz. This exquisite piece has pale smoky color, highlighted on the crystal edges, becoming, quite dark. Rare form, nice specimen. One crystal has a ding on its bottom face, and there is a couple of extremely small chatters. Ex Bernie Whyte collection.

For sale is a rare cupcake tektite from Hatches Creek N.T. First I have to say this was incredibly hard to picture, I have done the best I can. This is a rare breed indeed. The cupcake shaped tektite, has a fine flanged edge, , is of excellent size and has no damage.The cupcake form is actually a button that has lost its flange due to thermal shock during re-entry. This was collected many years ago and we obtained it from an old collection in Grafton. Try and find another one for sale anywhere. Top specimen, museum quality, great price.

For sale is a darwin glass, the result of a meteorite impact near, the very rugged and remote Mt Darwin in western Tasmania, approx 800,000 years ago. Recently some remnants of ancient life forms have been found in darwin glass. The specimen is basically dark green with some small translucent yellow brown patches, many bubbles are evident. This is considered a large specimen, weighing in at 27gms. The major strew field for this material is now in a national park, off limits for collection.

For sale is and interesting example of darwin glass from western Tasmania. This piece shows an uncommon flow pattern, giving a very three dimensional shape. Some areas are a very translucent grey yellow, with a couple of almost clear rods, the actual body color is a best described as an olive green. For sale is an excellent and uncommon group of diginite crystals from Mt Gunson. Diginite is a quiet rare copper sulfide. These are very large sharp crystals, and probable the best ever found in Australia. The crystal are in excellent condition, with some small luster, having the typical lead grey color. There is no damage to the surface of this specimen. This mineral rarely forms good crystals . Ex M Stott collection.

For sale is a dolomite crystal specimen, from Dolomite quarry Mudgee, NSW. This specimen was only very recently collected, and is pretty hard to picture, as there are crystals on either side of the center mound. The crystals are translucent colored from white to tan to brown, with internal phantoms. One of the main crystal has a visible ding (see pic) otherwise its in good condition. Quite possible the brown mineral is siderite. Guarantee we are the only person with this material.
