We purchased this specimen as chrysocolla and quartz, but after close examination I would think its is actually chrysocolla, malachite and drusy quartz. The drusy quartz has some malachite on it, a bit uncommon. Rare locality. Dug by and from the collection of Brian Foster (Central Coast)

For sale is a specimen of clear drusy quartz over malachite and crysocolla, from Sunset mine, Qld. This is a very hard piece to photograph, and I have not really been able to capture the sparkling nature of the drusy quartz coating, believe me its better in person. These little beauties came our three years ago and we obtained this at he Bundaberg Gemboree. Great combination of color, fine uncommon Australian specimen. We were only able to obtain one of these specimen.

For sale is a copper and malachite specimen from Whim Creek W.Aust. I obtained this specimen many years ago on a visit to "Rock on" at Silverton, it was being sold by the Sunrasier Gem club, and until this day have never seen a similar one(thou Im sure they exist). Its a fine well balance specimen with the copper being very well positioned. The piece has a sawn base, so it can be displayed from many angles. The radiating sprays of malachite are very attractive, and eye catching, making an overall eastitic specimem, from a long closed location.
WHIM CREEK MINE, WHIM CREEK, W.AUST
97 x 75 x 28mm
Price: $ 75.00 Product ID: 2747
For sale is a native copper and quartz from South mine Broken Hill. This is a particularly fine crystallized copper, that is outstanding because there is a COMPLETE LACK OF oxidation covering the copper as is the usual case. The lack of oxidation is possibly because of the very nice purity of the copper. Ultra rare. Also of interest is the quartz association, not the usual calcite, surprisingly a lot of the quartz crystal are terminated xls, even with a few scattered small double terminated xls. Very unusual habit,. this specimen was collected by Dick Cannon, in the late 1950's, comes with old label.
