Our large range of minerals reflects the fascination and the desire to preserve our unique Australian material.
Our quest is to further the knowledge and understanding of minerals in the wider community. A browse through these web pages show that we have a rather interesting range of uncommon and hard to find Australian mineral specimens. We have been exhibiting and selling fine Australian minerals since 1990, featuring rare collectors specimen from Broken Hill NSW, Torrington, Hillgrove and other important mines in Australia.

For sale is a wonderful Australian zeolite, from the unusual location Waddamana Tas. First I have to say this is way better than the pics indicate, with white minerals its just hard to get there definition,I have had to tone down the light to stop the reflections of the multiply faces. Phacolite is a form of interpenetrating twin chabasite, this is an exquisite example, with fine glassy crystals well spread and to a big size. Undamaged. This is a top Australian zeolite, that could hold its own with any chanisite world wide.

For sale is a quartz, chalcedony and calcite, from Allendale , NSW. This specimen is from a literally unknown source in the Hunter Valley, it appears as thou there are a lot of beta quartz crystals on this piece, the chalcedony is banded under the crystals, and the cream calcite is to the right, the calcite fluoresces a nice bright pink. We obtained this specimen at a NSW Mineralogical meeting a few years ago. Interesting.

For sale is a chalcopyrite on quartz from Broken Hill, NSW. This features discreet crystals of chalcopyrite , which according the "Minerals of Broken Hill" are rare from the Broken Hill lode. Not only this , not pictured at the rear of this piece is a small orange disk shaped crystal , which I have no idea what it is , but its in perfect condition. This is ex Jack Leach collection no.2272 with label.

For sale is a very busy Mt Elliot mine specimen. This features exceptionally good crystal of chalcopyrite,(not at all common) fine scapolite crystals, some diopside crystals, and some colorful orange calcite. While all the chalcopyrites are not perfect, there are a few very very good ones, and of a decent size. The scapolites are also very good for Australian scapolites. While this may not be the prettiest specimen, I have a soft spot for it, and have had it in my display case for quiet a few years. Ex Doug Ball collection.

For sale is a rather uncommon Australian chalcosite from Great Australia mine, Cloncurry. The original label (which comes with the specimen) describes this as Djurleite, but an analysis by the Australian Museum, identified it as Chalcosite. A fine specimen of crystal chalcosite, some twinned. This is the last of a small batch of these we obtained. RARE.

For sale is a chiastolite from the Pilbara W.Aust. In my experience this green color is most unusual, and as far as I have seen its the only location for this color in the world. This is actually a bit better than the pics indicate. Interestingly the black cross lines in these specimen are formed by graphite, in a way not yet understood. Since ancient times chiastolites have been seen as lucky stones.

For sale is a classic 'chrome' cerussite from Dundas Tas. The chrome is in brackets because there appears to be negligible to no chrome in these specimen. Interestingly the exact coloring agent has not been identified, but there is a possibility that it is of organic origin. Another interesting feature of these specimens is the form of the cerussite crystals is limited to a couple of types, for example twinned arrowheads are never found, thou in regular cerussite they are quiet common. Rare, solid, old specimen from Bernie Whyte collection.

For sale is an uncommon Australian chrysoberyl, from Harts Range, N.T. Rought but gemmy green yellow chrysoberyl crystals sit in a quartz and albite feldspar pegmatite. This location is Australia's best chrysoberyl location, while this is not an amazing specimen it is a very good example of a very scarce Australian mineral. Ex Dehne McLaughlin collection. The chrysoberyl is not quite so vivid in reality.

We purchased this specimen as chrysocolla and quartz, but after close examination I would think its is actually chrysocolla, malachite and drusy quartz. The drusy quartz has some malachite on it, a bit uncommon. Rare locality. Dug by and from the collection of Brian Foster (Central Coast)

For sale is a specimen of clear drusy quartz over malachite and crysocolla, from Sunset mine, Qld. This is a very hard piece to photograph, and I have not really been able to capture the sparkling nature of the drusy quartz coating, believe me its better in person. These little beauties came our three years ago and we obtained this at he Bundaberg Gemboree. Great combination of color, fine uncommon Australian specimen. We were only able to obtain one of these specimen.

For sale is an Aussie classic, and a rare double pseudomorph, chrysocolla from Whim Creek mine, W.Aust. This aesthetic piece is crowned by a proud group of chrysocolla pseudomorphed after malachite. Tiny, well-formed wulfenite crystals are scattered upon the surface of the specimen, as well as scattered calcite. Large and beautiful specimens of this caliber are very rare and hard to obtain, particularly with such good luster. Compare our price, with others available.
