Our large range of minerals reflects the fascination and the desire to preserve our unique Australian material.
Our quest is to further the knowledge and understanding of minerals in the wider community. A browse through these web pages show that we have a rather interesting range of uncommon and hard to find Australian mineral specimens. We have been exhibiting and selling fine Australian minerals since 1990, featuring rare collectors specimen from Broken Hill NSW, Torrington, Hillgrove and other important mines in Australia.
All prices in Australian Dollars.
We said before we had not more dawsonites, but we have been fortunate to obtain a couple more of this rare anhydrous carbonate. This comes from Narrabri coal mine, NSW. This is only the second recording of this mineral in NSW, so you could say its quiet rare.

For sale is an uncommon bi-color slab of opalite dendrite from Norsman, W.Aust. In reality there is no mineral named opalite, this is in fact chalcedoney with dendrite pyrolusite thou our. (thanks Trevor Dart), but opalite is a well know and used colloquial name. The green tinged banded around the periphery of the slab, is in my opinion quite uncommon! This is well polished with excellent luster and exquisite pattern. Top material, capable of cutting many cabs if this is your wish.

A reasonably clear diamond crystal, from Argyle. Australian diamonds are not very common and this is a good representative piece. This has excellent diamond luster. These are not the easiest things to source, as they have a policy to not sell in Australia, apparently.

For sale is a twinned diopside crystal from Mt Elliot, Qld. This dark green crystal has mico chalcopyrites scattered over the surface. but more interestingly is twinned nature of the crystal, (indicated by the V shape on the top of crystal). What can be seen on the front of the crystal appearing to be white parallel lines, are mineral I have been unable to identify, the center's are very dark to black with the ends being fibrous pale yellow, the parallel nature of the growth is uncommon, I would love to know what this unidentified mineral is , under the microscope its intriguing. While not having great luster, it is way above average for this location! Ex Doug Ball collection.

For sale is a double terminated quartz crystal from Oakleigh creek Tas. For sale is a duftite and mimetite from Mt Bonny, N.T. This is an interesting specimen with minerals covering all sides, the lush green duftite, are in a radiating form, showing flat flashing crystal faces, on the rosette like forms. The yellow mimetite crystals give a nice accent to the specimens. Rare old material, duftite is a rare mineral froM anywhere in the world, and mimetite is not that common. From the collection of, and collected by Norman and Jocine Robinson. This is better in person, sorry the pics are not great, it just wouldn't co-operate with me.

For sale is an epidote with quartz from Mt Isa district, Qld. First thing is the specimen is way way better than the pic indicate. The color is a slightly darker green than shown. The pics do not capture the overall flashing and sparkling nature of this piece! The fascinating things about this is that there is a fully terminated top face, there has been no contact of the display face. The box work style epidote is litter with small well formed quartz crystals. The contrasting reddish matrix is also sweet. Also scatter about are some small gemmy epidote crystals, probably better seen by magnification. Personally I just love the specimen.
