For sale is a duftite and mimetite from Mt Bonny, N.T. This is an interesting specimen with minerals covering all sides, the lush green duftite, are in a radiating form, showing flat flashing crystal faces, on the rosette like forms. The yellow mimetite crystals give a nice accent to the specimens. Rare old material, duftite is a rare mineral froM anywhere in the world, and mimetite is not that common. For sale is a top combo of epidote and quartz from Mitchell Plateau, W.Aust. This location has provided our best epidote and quartz specimens,(thou nothing has come out this century). This pristine specimen, with superb gemmy epidotes growing in, on and thru the clear quartz, has a small amount of albite(cream color) associated. This is the last one we have.

For sale is a very rare Australian feldspar crystal, from Timbara gold mine. This is an exceptionally fine crystal with very good luster on the display faces, the pics show both sides. the razor sharp crystal, is amazing for a location literally unknown for specimens. For sale is a ferrimolybdite on quartz from Old 25 mine, Kingsgate, NSW. A rare secondary mineral occurring in the oxidized zones of hydrothermal vein, it forms from the alteration of molybdentie. An exceptionally well formed spray of fibrous material, the sulphur yellow color is most notable! Ex Neil Smith collection.

For sale is fine skeletal quartz from Mt Isa Dist. This is an exceptional example of this skeletal growth quartz, found at its best in the Mt Isa area. Besides having high luster and no damage this special piece, boasts a great array of colors, blue/green areas, (not clearly seen, small but full color) cream, and brownish red, as well as milky color. Very uncommon to see these color's particularly the blue?green patches. Note these color's are all fully included within the quartz! This piece is hard to photograph, its way way better in person. For sale is an uncommon for Australia, a multi twinned fish tail specimen from S.Aust. This came out of an old collection, there were two of them. I have never seen another on like it. The pics dont show it well but the crystal faces have good luster. Unusual piece. This is better in person, pics don't really do it justice.

For sale is an interesting specimen of flower quartz and siderite balls from Blackhead quarry Ballina. The quartz flowers are actually water clear quartz that have grown around an unidentified stalactite mineral. There are a couple of areas on the side of the specimen where this can be seen very clearly, there are also a couple of spots where the just the tops of the stalactites, surrounded by quartz can be seen clearly. For sale is a large fluorapatite (apatite) crystal from Mt Elliot copper mine, Cloncurry area, Qld. The crystal has good luster and good form, the area at the bottom and rear shows where it sat on the diopside matrix. There is a small complete darkish crystal sitting on the side of the apatite, possible alanite? This crystal was part of a huge 18kg specimen, that fell apart due to very bad pyrite disease. For an Australian apatite, this is an amazingly good specimen! Ex Doug Ball collection.

For sale is a large block of varascite, from Milgun Station W.Aust. The faint black lines(which can be cleaned off) you can see, is where Bernie Whyte, had marked this specimen from cutting purposes, unfortunately Bernie was never able to complete this. This is a great Australian varascite piece, with large section (as can be seen) of high quality cutting material. The weight is a massive 570gms. For sale is a great galena specimen from Broken Hill. The original old label for this specimen said "cubic galena" Im not quite sure what that meant, and the label has now long disintegrated.Good galena crystals of this fine quality are very rare from Broken Hill. The garnets and white quartz matrix thou small give a neat contrast. As well as confirmation re the origin of the piece. Very nice! Great luster. As far as I can see this is a complete specimen!

For sale is a large slabbed section of mangrocalcite with galena, from Broken Hill, NSW. I suppose its been done before, but this is the first time I have seen cut and polished calcite from Broken Hill, the effect with the silver black galena, is most effective, especially with all the galena highlighted by calcite bands. For sale is a virtually solid piece of garnet, with multiple crystal faces from Broken Hill, NSW. This specimen weights more than 300gms. The crystal faces are highly lustrous and well formed. Solid groups of garnet this size are not common today, as most were broken during the mining process. Ex Norman and Jocine Robinson collection.
