Our large range of minerals reflects the fascination and the desire to preserve our unique Australian material.
Our quest is to further the knowledge and understanding of minerals in the wider community. A browse through these web pages show that we have a rather interesting range of uncommon and hard to find Australian mineral specimens. We have been exhibiting and selling fine Australian minerals since 1990, featuring rare collectors specimen from Broken Hill NSW, Torrington, Hillgrove and other important mines in Australia.

For sale is a specimen of Ashburtonite from Anticline prospect, W.Aust. Ashburtonite is a very rare hydrated Pb-Cu silicate. Blue microcrystals and crusts cover a large part of the matrix. A showy and excellent specimen of isolated, lustrous azurite crystals and a clusters of azurite crystals nicely set on a very 3-dimensional gossan, highly lusterous. For sale is an outstanding azurite and chrysocolla, from the historic Burra Burra mine, Burra, S.Aust. The pics really speak for themselves. There is also a couple of other minerals associated, with this specimen, pieces such as this are vanishingly rare, there is no way I will be able to replace this. The azurite spray is about as large as Burra azurite comes. Ex Tom Tamas collection (Sydney)

For sale is a gorgeous, deep blue azurite from Burra, S.Aust. Unfortunately the pics dont capture the sparking nature of the azurite. The royal blue color has a wonderful halo of sky blue chrysocolla, and then a outer rather very pale blue white kaloin. Very attractive! Old material from a long defunct famous location. Hard to find this classic material today, especially this size.

For sale is a combo molybdenite and bismuth, from Kingsgate, NSW. While both these minerals can be considered common from Kingsgate, they are surprisingly found together in presentable specimens not often( see if you can find a pic of one). Both species here are well crystallized on the specimen. The molybdenite is very thick and well crystallized on all faces, not shown clearly in the pics. The is ex the late and badly missed Keith Greggson.

For sale is a blue chalcedony from Soldiers Cap, Mt Isa. This rather pretty piece was sold as fluorite (blue botryoidal fluorite from Soldiers Cap would have been very interesting!) it turned out to be chalcedony, still rather uncommon. The color is unique, and the brown matrix gives a fine contrasting color. This one really grows on you.

For sale is a calcite group from a little seen locality, Rapid Bay Limestone quarry, S.Aust. Note that most of the few specimens that came from here, usually have a less than pretty coating of either calcite or quartz , obscuring most crystals. This features large crystal, fine definition, and even some luster (uncommon). Ex Mike Fisher collection, Adelaide.

For sale is a calcite group from Broken Hill, NSW. This is a group of sharp translucent crystals with good luster. There is a small dusting of a dark mineral(probably pyrite) parallel to some crystal edges, giving a nice accent. The whole display face is pristine, being calcite there is one or two cleaves at the edge. It also appears to have a small skirt of quartz crystals, around some of the perimeter. Very sweet Broken Hill calcite, in my opinion! Ex Jack Leach (thou not having a number) ex Neal Smith collection.
